Directions: Arrange the steps in making Bechamel Sauce in chronological order. Use letters A- F

_____1. Gently simmer the mixture until the flour has softened.

_____2. After 20 minutes of simmering, the mixture will reduce on its total volume.

_____3. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Once melted, add the flour and stir until the flour cooks to a light -yellow colored paste.

_____4. Remove the sauce from the heat resulting to a smooth and velvety texture. Seasoned with salt and pepper.

_____5. Slowly add the milk until thickened the roux.

_____6. Stir frequently to make sure the sauce doesn't scorch at the bottom of the pan.
