4. Newlywed couple Anna and Krsitoff decided to have a
semicircular window in their house with a radius of 12
inches. They wanted the window to be laminated with a
sunblock coating that costs P 50.00 per square inch to
apply. What is the total cost of coating the window?
5. There is a circular pool at the park with the radius of 11 yd.
A ring-shaped path goes around the pool. Its width is 5 yd.
We are going to give a new layer of coating to the path. If
one gallon of coating can cover 8 yd., how many gallons of
coating do we need? Note that coating comes only by the
gallon, so the number of gallons must be a whole number.​
