1.) Mouth/buccal cavity

• Main organ for mastication where the breakdown of carbohydrates

2.) Stomach

• Coats the food with a mixture of acid and digestive enzymes to help break the food further.

3.) Small intestine

• Absorbs breakdown produi of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, along with vitamins, minerals, and water.

4.) Large intestine

• Absorbs most residual water, electrolytes and vitamins producted by enteric bacteria.

5. Liver

• Regulates most chemical levels in the blood and excretes a product called bile.

6.) Gall bladder

• Stores bile needed for digestion of fats in food.

7.) Pancreas

• It plays an essential role in converting the food we eat into fuel for body's cells.

8.) Pharynx

• Intersection leading to the trachea and gullet that serves as passageway of food.

9.) Esophagus/Gullet

• Connects the pharynx to the stomach and moves the the food by waves of muscle cony called peristalsis.

10.) Rectum

• Stores feces unt it is egested.
