Describe the following terms in short. (i) Actual resources (ii) Non-renewable resources (iii) Ubiquitous resources (iv) Natural
(i) Actual resources
Actual resources are those that have been surveyed, their quantity and quality determined, and are being used in present times. For example, petroleum and natural gas is actively being obtained from the Mumbai High Fields.
(ii) Non-renewable resources
Nonrenewable energy resources include coal, natural gas, oil, and nuclear energy. Once these resources are used up, they canno be replaced, which is a major problem for humanity as we are currently dependent on them to supply most of our energy needs.
(iii) Ubiquitous resources
ubiquitous resource is one of the natural resources. It is ubiquitous as found in every location. These are renewable resources. Sunlight, air, and water are some examples of such resources.
(iv) Natural resources
Natural resources are materials from the Earth that are used to support life and meet people's needs. Any natural substance that humans use can be considered a natural resource. Oil, coal, natural gas, metals, stone and sand are natural resources. Other natural resources are air, sunlight, soil and water.
Facilities that full fills our needs, as primary benefits from it are known as Resources, and resources are classified as Actual resources, Non renewable resources, Ubiquitous resources, and Natural resources.
(i) Actual Resources:
The resources that we use is available is actual resources. Actual resources are the resources where Quantity is defined to us and used in the present. Actual resources are the ones determined by their Quantity and consistency.
Examples are coal, water, and petrol are Actual resources.
(ii) Non-renewable Source:
Nonrenewable energy resources are coal, natural gas, oil, and nuclear energy. As the resources are over, they cannot be replaced, which is a major problem for Environment and young youth. We are currently dependent on them for our needs. A non-renewable resource refers to a natural resource that is found beneath the earth, which when consumed, does not replenish at the same speed at which it is used up. The resources typically take millions of years to develop.
(iii) Ubiquitous resources:
Ubiquitous is also a one of the natural resource. Ubiquitous resources are air, wind, water, and solar energy that natural resources.
(iv) Natural resources:
Natural resources are such sources that are present naturally. Natural resources means that exists independent of human actions.
Ex: Trees, wind, and water.
