Using formula, we will get the magic square constant.

Here,

n(number of rows or cols)=7

So,

Magic constant

=n(n²+1)/2

=7(49+1)/2

=7*50/2

=175.

Hence, the magic square constant is 175.

We have to arrange the numbers 1-49 in such a way that the sum of the numbers(left-right, top-down and diagonally) is 175.

For n x n table and is odd, we will solve by using this rule given,

1. Place the number 1 in the center box of top row.
2. Fill in the remaining numbers using an up-one, right-one pattern.

But, there exists three exception case which we will solve. These are the three exceptional cases.
