DAY 7 Learning Opportunities Directions: Liam and Marco have both written short descriptions of their gardens. Read each description. Then fill out the Venn Diagram below to compare the two gardens. Liam This year, I am only growing flowers. Last year I tried to grow vegetables, but it was too much work. I got some packets of wildflower seed mix. I am going to just sprinkle them in the garden area, water it with the hose, and walk away. Then, in a month or two, I'll just admire the beautiful flowers! Marcfo I am serious about growing my own food. I have eight raised beds inside a fenced enclosure, to keep the pests out. I am growing radishes, lettuce, and carrots this spring. Then, in the summer, I will grow tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and tons of squash, because I love squash. I'll be out there every day, harvesting and weeding!
