Open dumpsite has become the biggest problem of the residents of barangay Kumintang. People in the community are complaining about the unpleasant smell from the dumpsite, especially during rainy days. A number of children and adult got asthma attacks, cough and flu because of bad air. Barangay health workers reported the problem to the office of the City Mayor. The mayor immediately issued an order to stop the operation of the dumpsite.
