I dream of a corruption free India. A place where everyone works hard and gets what he deserves. A place that gives equal opportunity to everyone based on their knowledge and skills irrespective of their caste, colour, creed or religion. A place where people don’t use other people around to get accomplish their selfish motives.
But alas, India is far from this ideal place I imagine it to be. Everyone is so engrossed in earning money and enhancing their lifestyle that they don’t mind using corrupt ways to fulfill their dreams and ambitions. It is a common notion that those who work with honesty are unable to reach anywhere. They hardly get any promotion and continue to earn meagre salary. On the other hand, those who seek bribes and use unfair means to accomplish their tasks climb up the ladder of success and make a better living.
It needs to be understood that although using corrupt ways is an easy way to make money in most cases but it does not actually make you happy. You may do well monetarily using such ill-practices but will you ever get peace of mind? No! You may find temporary happiness but in the long run you will stay dissatisfied and unhappy.
If each one of us must take a pledge to leave corrupt practices. This way our life will become better and our country will become a much better place.
Corruption exists in every sector and at every status in the country. Corrupt means and illegal manners are used to achieve various big and small tasks by people about the government and the private sector. This is because the community want to make big claims without vastly hard work.
India is a country that boasts of high integrity, morals, and beliefs and is ironically confronted with the issue of corruption. It is one of the many evil practices our country is battling with. The entire system of the country is established on corruption at diverse levels.
Most evolving countries are encountering this issue. The government and individuals in these nations do not realize that corrupt processes may aid them to some extent, but it hinders the development of the country as a broad and is eventually bad for them.
Corruption-free India for a developed nation can be executed by:-
Education is one of the major reasons for reducing corruption. Many people in the uneducated class use criminal and corrupt means to attain their livelihood. Allocating education can assist in preventing this problem to a vast extent. The government must give rise to policies to assure that every child in the country goes to school and satisfying education.
Strict laws must be given rise to people who spoil themselves in corrupt practices such as receiving and giving bribery by using immoral manners to broaden their businesses, amassing black money, etc. These people must be penalized harshly.
Employment in the market should increase related to the number of qualified youths. While many youths these days roam around without any employment, others take up employment that is not at equality to their qualification. The disappointment amongst these individuals and their pursuit of earning more directs them to adopt corrupt means.
MAJOR REASONS FOR CORRUPTION:-
Greed and growing rivalry in the market are also reasons for thriving corruption. People these days have evolved as greedy. They want to earn more than their families and friends, and in this insane rush, they do not flinch to use corrupt means to discern their dreams.
The government administrators in the country are recognized for their laid-back behaviour towards work. They accept bribes without any reluctance to give various government services to people. There is no inspection of these malpractices. Taking bribes and favours for people in power is a widespread tendency in government departments. This is not to say that every government administrator is corrupt. A handful of them does their duties.
CONCLUSION:-
Everyone wants the country to be free of corruption and condemns the government for not performing anything in this path. But are we striving to prevent the problem at our statuses? No, we don't. Deliberately or unknowingly, we all are putting on the rise to corruption. Nobody is willing to take the drive and work as a team to run this evil away from the country.
Even though we want a corruption-free India, no one is ready to participate in the motive. We are instead putting into it. For freeing our country from this evil practice, we must stand unified and be ethical in our efforts.
