Correct the following statements and rewrite:
a. At the beginning of the twentieth century, about 35 percent of the
Russian empire’s population earned their living from agriculture.

b. Jadidists were the Christian reformers within the Russian empire.


c. In 1914, war broke out between two European alliances – Germany,
Austria and Turkey and France, Britain and Australia.


d. On 22 February1917, a lock out took out at a factory on the right bank
of the River Nile.

e. Duma leaders had led the February Revolution that brought down the
monarchy in February 1917.

f. On 16 October 1917, Lenin persuaded the Petrograd Soviet and the
Menshevik to agree to a Socialist seizure of power.
