5. MS Word is a beginner-friendly application program and new users can easily learn basic features of this program.

Cons

The following are the cons, or the disadvantages of using MS Word:

1. You cannot make a presentation out of this. You will need to use the other Microsoft Program which is the Powerpoint.
2. Complicated long tables and pictures tend to overlap with text or sometimes adding them can ruin your entire work for newbies. It is better to use Microsoft Publisher.
3. If you want to do your computations here using table feature, it is a bad idea since it cannot do what you expect. Use MS Excel.
4. Sometimes, to update your MS Word to its latest version, you will need to pay for it.
5. MS Word is just good for text editing. You cannot use it if you want to edit your photos using its basic photo enhancement features.
