DIARY ON THE FIRST DAY OF ATTENDING A BLOOD DONATION CAMP-

My school organized a two-day health camp, and today was my first day for me. An incredible event, indeed. I had a great time. Today, I discovered so much new stuff. A renowned dietitian and a yoga specialist came to see us. We learned new yoga poses like Tadasana and Matsyasana from a yoga guru. Our dietitian provided us with healthy dietary advice. He/she discussed the value of a balanced diet with us. We also had fun with games. The games were made so that we could learn yoga.

I was refreshed. I appreciate being a part of this. Tomorrow will allow me to learn more, and I can't wait to learn more.

DIARY ON THE SECOND DAY OF ATTENDING A BLOOD DONATION CAMP-

Our two-day health camp came to an end today. Today, I gained additional knowledge. The yoga specialist spoke to us about the value and advantages of meditation. He/she explained that it is a method for helping us to relax. He/she claimed that it helps us focus and sharpen our memories. He/she led us in a meditation. Today, I meditated for an hour alongside my students. After my meditation, I was extremely at peace. Following that, the dietitian talked to us about the advantages of drinking water and staying hydrated.

I truly enjoyed being a part of this health camp. I will undoubtedly attend the camp each year.

I had good experience of my life. I attended a 2 day blood donation camp organised by my society, Greenpark. I was volunteer at the camp. I helped the donors. I served tea/coffee and biscuits after they had donated the blood.

A famous dieticion Mr. Rao gave tips on healthy eating to all donors.
