1. To be a prophet is a call and a gift. This call carries with it a number of responsibilities. Yet, God who calls gives the one called the gift to be his courageous messenger. If you were given a chance to be his prophet or God's messenger, how will you spread his words and good news to his people? 2. The catechism for Filipino Catholics (CFC) proclaims that “The prophetic message is inspiring an extraordinarily active ministry of the Catholic Church in the Philippines in its thrust for justice through a preferential option for the poor. "How will you participate in the church's justice ministry and in her commitment to uplift the poor?3. The catechism of the Catholic Church tells that John the Baptist witnessed to Christ in his preaching, by his Baptism of conversion, and through martyrdom. How will you witness to Christ just like John the Baptist? Cite concrete ways.4. If John the Baptist were alive today, what do you think will be his message for your generation? Why? 5. Jesus' authority springs from his close relationship with God. What will you do to develop a closer relationship? 6. Each of us is given an authority to exercise whether at home, in school, or among our peers and classmates. Express your commitment to how you will put in application Jesus' way of exercising His authority in your given situations/circumstances. 7. As followers of Jesus Christ, what concrete signs and deeds should we do so that we can be faithful to our Christian calling? 8. In what concrete ways have you experienced God's wonders and sign? Can you share a personal experience? How did this experience deepen your faith in God? 9. What examples of jesus as prophet will you follow? What concrete actions will you undertake to show that you follow His examples? 10. Write in your journal a significant experience of hardships as a student. Share how you felt God helping you through the support of your family, friends, and classmates. At the same time, write a pledge of commitment expressing your desire to journey with your friends and classmates who might be having difficult moments, in their own lives.​
