Now that you're learning about your new topic, you can curate information sources to read on a regular basis. If you're going to be running a Twitter account about a specific field then you need to be on top of all relevant news. My preferred method for news curation is Twitter lists. They're organized and allow you to tailor your list to whatever you need to read. Twitter is fantastic for sourcing news in real time.
What's close to your heart? What do you want people to know? And how can you be of service? That's what you should write about. Put your material out there, but don't try to get "followers". Let whatever happens happen, even if nobody reads it or "follows." How do you know it's not meant for one person to discover? What would you want your old self to discover? Isn't it worth your time to write to only one person. Especially when you obviously have an irresistible itch to write? Remember, "no one lights a lamp and hides it."
Forget about your reputation. Forget about trying to sell your ideas or promote yourself. Just express yourself. Just share yourself. Just give to others what you want them to have. It's none of your business what they think of you or your ideas. Just put it out there and let them do with it what they want. What's close to your heart? What do you want people to know? Unlike the United States, if you are born in the Dominican Republic and are of Haitian descent you are not automatically granted Dominican Republic citizenship. According to their laws even if you are the third generation of your family to be born in the Dominican Republic you are still not granted citizenship, unless your family has been there prior to 1929. This has caused a lot of turmoil between Haiti and the Dominican Republic comma mainly because after the earthquake there are many who emigrated to the Dominican Republic from Haiti. According to the Dominican republic government they are welcoming nations with open arms and simply require them to file for citizenship. However it is not as simple as the government makes it out to be. In the Dominican Republic many things go off of your birth certificate and if you cannot afford to get a new one then you may not apply for citizenship.
The most peaceful time is after your weekend projects at 11:42 PM, where for once you don't have any work to do. This is the perfect time to hang out, socialize, breath, chill, worry about your grades and dream about getting in, and no, next week won't be any easier. Look around, who's missing? A lot of people will drop out early, keep going!
