5. Which among the two articles contains more facts?
Answers & Comments
Answer:
1. The headline for article 1 has a creative way of luring in readers to read the article while article 2 is just a generic title basically telling everyone what had happened in a pretty bland way.
2. Article 1
3. Article 1
4. Article 1
5. Article 2
Explanation:
Number 2: Feature articles tend to be expressive and use adjectives to describe what happened to give the article color unlike news writing which just states the obvious.
Number 3: Article 1 is a feature article
Number 4: Feature articles aren't meant to be opinionated but news articles aren't either so I'd say it's the feature article since some feature stories CAN have opinions but not all the time. Editorial articles are opinionated articles which highly focus on opinions more than facts unlike feature and news writing which relies on facts as their main source.
Number 5: The news article has more facts because it's supposed to inform everyone about what happened. Feature writing is also like this but in a more expressive way but since not all info from the news article was excerpted to the feature article (which makes me a bit mad because feature articles shouldn't leave any info behind), the answer is article 2.
Feature writer po ako at may experience din po ako sa news writing noong Elementary :)
