Lencho was a small farmer. He was an ox of a man. He was very hardworking farmer. He lived in a house which was the only one in a valley. He had a firm faith in God. His faith in God was such like that that he wrote a letter to God when he was in a typical situation. He had crop of maize in his field. When his field was destroyed by hailstones, then he thought that his family would die with hunger, but he didn't lose heart and thought to write a letter to God asking 100 pesos. The letter was read by a kind-hearted post master who tried to help him but still Lencho called the post office employees "A Bunch of Crooks".
