Hey, Displacement can be zero because it is the shortest possible distance between the initial and the final positions. But distance can never be zero since it is the total path covered by the body .

One such example to prove this is that an object travel a distance from A to B and then back B to A. Let the distance between A to B be 10m .
There Distance is 20m while displacement remains zero.
