c. Simple Future Tense The future tense uses the helping verbs will and shall plus the base form of the verb. It indicates that the action will happen or take place in the future. Examples: Verb watch sing attend lead visit Past Tense will watch will sing will attend will lead will visit > The future tense of the verb is formed by adding will before the verb. Sometimes, going to is also added before the verb.​
