a. The profit for each cactus sold is 15 pesos.
Formula:
profit = selling price - variable cost
profit = 50 - 35
profit = 15 pesos
b. He must sell 18 cactus plants to earn 120 pesos profit.
Formula:
profit + fixed cost (rent) = # of cactus sold (profit for each cactus plant)
120 + 150 = # of cactus sold (15)
# of cactus sold = 18
c. He must sell 10 cactus plants to break-even.
Formula:
break even (units) = fixed cost / profit for each plant
break even (units) = 150 / 15
break even (units) = 10
d. He sold 24 cactus plants for a days he earned 210 pesos profit.
