Arachne is a very good weaver and tailor, but she is still not satisfied because the villagers tell her that the Goddess Athena is much more famous for her weaving skills. Then one day, she can't hold it anymore and tell Athena to come to human world and compete a weaving contest. "Hmm! Athena, let's held a competition!" says Arachne. The Goddess Agree to have a competition. All the people choose Arachne And Athena's dress. "Oh my, it is so hard to choose!" said the people and Arachne finally won the contest. This make Athena really angry because of her attitude so she cursed her into a spider which is the origin of spiders and that is why they make webs as a cloth.
