B. Viewing of the Specimen. Direction: Arrange the following steps in the Viewing specimen. Write 1 to 5 in the blank space before each number.
1 indicates the first and 5 to be the last.

1.When the HPO is already in place using the fine adjustment slowly lower the objective till it almost touches the covert slip.

2. Look through the eyepiece. Slowly turn the coarse adjustment upward to raise the objectives until the letter 'e' appears.

3. Put the slide on the stage

4. To shift to the HPO, raise the body tube first. Looking from the side, turn the revolving nosepiece to pit the HPO in place.

5. Watching from the side carefully lower the body tube until the end of the LPO almost touching the cover slip. ​
