It is the most common disaster and its effects are devastating. However, there are things that we can do to secure our belongings when flood occurs. One way is using sandbags to obstruct flood water from going into the house. Next is moving the furniture, and other valuables on higher or elevated floor. Another way is securing electrical equipment and the last thing that you can do, is to develop a flood plan and prepare an emergency kit. Natural calamities, such as flood, come anytime and if one is not prepared, then be ready to lose everything that you have worked for
