At present, children having mobile phones is becoming the latest trend. Even infants have already been introduced to mobiles phones, ipods or tablets to amuse them with nursery rhymes and songs. Children still continue to use mobile phones despite the obvious risk to their health. Alarming reports on the ill effects of the use of these gadgets have been reported and still a number of parents continue to let their kids use them always. Mobile phones emit a dosage of radiation, which is harmful to the user and cause severe brain damage. Yes we find mobiles useful at times. They enable parents to maintain contact with their children whenever they need to. There are also obvious benefits to their use in emergency situations. But considering the recent rise in crimes associated with mobiles is something that we need to consider and give action. Many of our children are under threat of violence merely by the possession of a phone. Parents should think carefully before purchasing a mobile phone for their child. Proper monitoring and guidance should be enforced. What will happen to or world if our future leaders... our children now will be addicted to the use of mobile phones and will suffer the bad effects that they bring?
