B. Directions: Below are the main components of Cinderella. Place each component where it
belongs on the Plot Diagram by placing its number in the circle.
1.The Prince's ministers went all over the kingdom trying the glass slipper on everyone, but it
didn't fit anyone but Cinderella
2. Suddenly a fairy appeared, waved her wand, and dressed Cinderella in a lovely gown, created
her a coach to ride in, and warned her to be back by midnight.
3. Cinderella returned with the ministers and married the prince.
4. A beautiful girl lived with her stepmother and stepsisters who treated her cruelly and only
allowed her to dress in old rags.
5. Suddenly the fairy reappeared, and with a wave of her wand, Cinderella became young,
beautiful, and dressed in her gown.
6. The prince sent his ministers to look for the girl he had danced with all night and so that he could
marry her.
7. The stepsisters dressed for a ball at the palace, but Cinderella was told she could not go with
them.
8. Cinderella arrived at the ball and danced with the prince until midnight before running away and
losing a glass slipper.​
