So selling price = x−x×5100 = 19x20...(i)
Cost price = Rs.380
To have a parofit of 25%, Selling price = 380+380×25100 = Rs.475 ...(ii)
So from (i) and (ii) we get;
19x20 = 475⇒x = 475×2019 = 500
Therefore the dealer must mark Rs.500 to have a profit of 25%.
