Activity C: (Preparation of Suspension) 1. Measure 100 ml of tap water the third beaker/clear glass. 2. Add a teaspoon of uncooked gaw-gaw (corn starch) powder Activity D: (Tyndall Effect Test) 1. Into the beaker/clear glass, direct a beam of light from a penlight/flashlight in a dark room. NOTE: You may use a big black cloth to cover yourself in lieu of dark room. 2. Look at the ray of light focused at right angle with the mixture. The mixture that scatters light is said to exhibit Tyndall effect. What have you found out? 1. Compare the color of the mixtures in Activity A, B and C. 2. Which of the three mixtures is/are homogeneous? Heterogeneous? 3. Which activity shows clear and transparent or no particles are observed? 4. Which activity has fine particles that do not settle? Are these particles visible to the naked eye? 5. Which mixture has big particles that tends to settle at the bottom ofthe container? 6. Which mixture exhibits Tyndall Effect? Conclusion:​
