My tips for you are:

1.) Camaraderie - In college you need to come along with every classmate. Because if you/they don't understand the lesson there are many people who you can ask for help (especially smart people and seniors, you will learn a lot from them). Be nice to everyone. You need teamwork.

2.) Generosity - Be generous with your answer to the assignment. Because if they have, they will give you too. It is not considered cheating because assignment/ homework is just a practice. Take note, don't copy the answer but get an idea only.

3.) Time management - college have different time scales, sometimes you have a long-vacant, sometimes you have very little time. Use your time wisely.

4.) Be crafty and think outside the box - Don't just rely on conventional lectures. There are so many options to learn online.

5.) Find the right set of friends - Because they will be your team up until the end. Especially, in a thesis, you need a good team.

6.) Take care of your mental health - do some activities that destressing you. The college has a lot of stress.
