A Colloid is a heterogeneous mixture and particles of some particles are scattered.
For example:
Milk, sand in water and oil and water.
There are different types of colloid these are Sol, Aerosol, Foam and Emulsion.
Additional Information:
Tyndall Effect is the scattering of light in a colloid. It was named by a physician named John Tyndall.
