No, my parents won't let me decide on my own since they know what is the good for me.

Emotions may become stronger and more intense. Their mood might change more frequently, quickly and randomly. It change me of what I am and accepted the truth, sometimes you may feel jealous to others instead you should work hard to get/commit what you want in life, that someday I would be like them.

How have gender roles impacted your life?

As what I observed from the other people I can say that some people would judge them of who you are, for example you are lesbian and your family would not accept you, you may feel depressed since your family don't support you.
