Answer:
I’d say that as I age, I get better at dealing with all kinds of things. I overcame some very bad patterns that started in childhood in order to complete my education and to have the modest career I did manage to have. I learned how to cope with emotions like anger and fear. I took care of my husband in the years he had Parkinson’s disease up until his death and I helped my mother at a time when she badly needed it. Those are all things I am very proud of. I’ve also made terrible mistakes and had many failures. But I hope I learned something from them. I don’t think of my life as having stages so much as being a work in progress.
