You will need:
water
black pepper
kerosene
powdered coffee
detergent powder
styro foam grains
3 teaspoons
salt
alcohol
sugar
3 glass rods
3 empty glass containers (labeled A, B and C)
What to do:
1. Place five teaspoons each of water, alcohol and kerosene in the three containes,
2. In each of these three containers, place a teaspoon of sugar. Stir 10 times. Observe in
which solvent the substance dissolves fast.
3. Do the same with the salt, detergent powder, black pepper, powdered coffee and
Styrofoam grains.. Observe in which solvent these substances dissolve fast.
