starting with “A” for the first step, “B” for the second step, and so on down to the last step. Write

____1. Place the rod under the strand, holding it parallel with the parting, then draw the endpaper
end rod downward until hair ends are covered.
____2. Comb the hair up and out until it is evenly and out until all hair is evenly directed and distributed.
____3. Place the endpaper on the top of the hair ends. Hold the strand flat to prevent bunching.
____4. Fasten the rod strap evenly across the hair at the top of the rod.
____5. Center the endpaper on the rod and roll the hair under, using the thumb of each hand to keep the strand smooth and properly placed.
