The wind will flow to where the warm air rises. During day time, the wind will usually flow from the ocean going to the mountain ( Sea Breeze ). Land or mountain will heat up faster compared to water in the ocean. In this case, the air in the land area rises up due to heat and the wind flow from the ocean going to the mountain. During night time, the wind blows from the mountain going to the ocean ( Land Breeze ). The ocean cools down slower in which it is still warmer during night time.
