Answer:
Dear Someone,
I know that life for you is not the same anymore. You have changed a lot, from this shy little boy to a drug addict. We have been friends since childhood. You were smart and so kind. Nothing compares to your kindness and your respect for us, your friends. I didn't know how to approach you or engage in a conversation with you anymore. I know that you were offended if I acted that I didn't know you or seemed to be not able to recognize you. You know what? I am angry at you, for what you are doing to your life. I know I am not perfect, but I don't even want you to be one. You have chosen the difficult road. What happened to you? I know that you were hurt because I disrespected you and I am sorry.
The truth is, I don't know where to begin with. I was the one who gets shy whenever we meet. I don't know why. Is it because you are not the same anymore? You know, the other day, heard that you were detained in the Police Station because you were caught by the police even before you purchased illegal drugs. At first, I am happy because I was hoping that you will soon realize your mistakes, that what you are doing with your life is pointless and meaningless. Until now, I didn't say a thing about it to you even if we met the other day. I pretended that I didn't see you.
My friend, we are in a pandemic yet you are still doing this. Please stop it. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Know that I have already reached out to you. I'm sorry and please come back and start life anew.
Your friend,
Me
