Ang mga sumusunod na statements ay mga basic na rules sa geometry, i-explain ko sila bawat number.
1. If R is midpoint of line AT, then line AR = line RT.
Sinasabi raw na ang point R ay ang pinakagitnang point sa isang circle at napapagitnaan nito ang line AT (masasabi mong diameter siya). Nakakita ka na ng diameter, 'di ba? Lagyan mo lang ng tuldok sa gitna, at ito eung statement #1. Dahil dito, masasabi natin na ang line AR at line RT ay parehas kasi sila ay radius ng isang diameter. Tingnan mo na lang sa unang picture.

2. If angle 1 and 2 are supplementary angles, then the measure of angle 1 + 2 = 180°.
Ang supplementary angles po ay dalawang angles na magkatabi at kapag in-add mo sila, 180° ang sagot.

Sa kabilang banda, ang complimentary angles ay magkatabing dalawang angles na may sum na 90°.

Pakitingnan na lang ang pangalawang picture. Masasabi kasi natin na kapag may tumusok sa isang gitna ng angle, may magagawang angles na magkakaparehas ang sukat o congruent.

Ang halimbawa ng linear pair ay eung nasa pangatlong picture. At alam naman nating ang dalawang angles na ito ay magiging 180° kung pinagsama kaya sila ay supplementary.
