understand the given situation below. If you were in that situation, how could

Situation:
A classmate has asked you for a twentieth time to borrow a
pen. Every time you lend her one, you don't get it back, so
this time you say no. She gets angry and starts to yell at you.

Here's what I would do ( since I'm a guy.)
I would relax and not let anger get the best of me and ask her why she's yelling at me ( depends on the reply so let's just assume that she's mad and she got used to you giving her pens for free.)
So I would explain the situation in a calm and reasonable way so that the situation does not escalate
