Liquid -No fixed shape but they do have volume
Gas -They have neither definite shape

Shapes between particles:
Solid -a solid has a stable, definite shape, and a definite volume.
Liquid -a liquid has no definite shap and takes a shape dirictated by its container.
Gas -Gases don't have a fixed shape or a fixed volume.
Arrangement of particles:
Solid -In a solid, particles are packed tightly together in regular pattern.
Liquid -In liquids, the particles are near each other, but not tightly packed.
Gas -gas are well seperated with no regular arrangement.
Movement of particles:
Solid -In the solid the particles vibrate in place.
Liquid -In liquids, particles are quite close together and move with random motion throughout the container.
Gas -In gases the particles move rapidly
all in direction.
