Activity 1: Mixing Solid and Liquid What to do:

1. Get a drinking glass.

2. Using the spoon, mix or combine solid materials with the liquid materials listed in the table

3. After mixing the materials, observe what happens.

4. On a sheet of paper, record your observations on the table checking the proper column. Write down also the changes you observed when solid and liquid materials are mixed or combined.

Answer the following questions:

1. What were the solid materials that dissolved in given liquid materials?

2. What were the solid materials that did not dissolve in liquid materials?

3. What were the different changes happened to solid and liquid materials when mixed?​
