Activity 1: Fire Out!
Materials: 4 jars in different sizes 4 small candles of the same
size match timorruter
Procedures
1. Light one of the candles
2. Cover it with the smallest ja
3. Using a timer measure how many seconds it takes for the flame of the
candle to be put out
4. Measure the length of the candle after it bums out
5. Repeat the procedure using the next size ofjar up to the largestjan
8. Find out in which ar has the longest and shortest time of putting out the
Hame of the candle.​
