according to the text,bulan-hari,the father of alitaptap, became so selfish that he had to sacrifice his own daughter. was he just or not? Explain your answer?
As a wise king he knew that something bad will happen and as a parent he also knew that his daughter will never have a change of heart. So instead of mixing water and oil, he chose to sacrifice and give the life of his daughter to give his land a hope. No matter how dark it was after the war, the fragments of the life his daughter gave light to the place. As they say, there will be no other greater love for your people but to sacrifice what you love most for them and this was the same thing that King Bulan-hari did. He chose to give up the life of his daughter to make sure that the broken peaceful valley would then have a sense of hope because of his daughter. It is indeed a painful story and a heartbreaking one but it also showed how selfless the king is to give hope to the land that he was taking care of. #BrainlyFast
