A vendor bought 60 pineapples at 28.50 pesos each.Five pineapples got rotten but he sold the rest at 40.25 pesos each,how much did he gain?

SOLUTION:

>>Total no.of pineapple= 60

>> Cost of each= 28.50

>>Total cost= 60 x 28.50

= 1,710

>>5 pineapples got rotten,so= 60-5=55.

•GAIN= 55 x 40.25= 2,213.75

•So,Gain= 2,213.75 - 1,710

= 503.75

:Hence,he gain P 503.75
