A. Remembering the Night Sky
Maria is a College student in Manila. She is from the province. One day, one of
her classmates asked her what she misses from her province. She immediately replied
that she misses her parents and siblings so much. She also recalled how she and her
friends walked in the field and enjoyed the star-filled night sky, while eating rice cake
made by her mother. They always wondered why the clusters of stars seemed to move
also and change position in the course of the night. She told her classmate that she and
her friends are amazed with the patterns formed by the stars they loved to observe at
night. They even made wishes on these constellations of stars. Her favorite constellation
is the one which shapes like “W.” Maria also told her classmate that she is excited to go
home once school days are over.
