therefore, C.P. of 12 bananas = 4.5 × 12 = Rs 54
S.P. of 12 bananas = Rs 51
therefore, C.P. > S.P.
So, loss = 54 - 51 = Rs 3
loss (%) = (loss/C.P.)×100
then, loss (%) = (3/54)×100
= (0.055)×100
= 5.5 % approximately
