A bill for 10000 was retired by the bank under a rebate of 200 but the full amount of bill was credited in the bank column of the cash book. We have to prepare a brs on basis of pass book

Since rebate is an expense as the journal entry bank Dr rebate Dr to bring Cr so we would increase the pass book balance if starting point is pass book and we would decrease as per cash book
