a. Estuaries contain a wide range of habitats and ecosystems including large areas of open water, rocky reefs, intertidal sand and mud flats, mangroves, and temperate seagrass beds
b. Estuaries are also important for other recreational activities because people visit estuaries to boat, swim, fish, and watch birds and other wildlife.
c. Estuaries support a diversity of species of fish, shellfish, aquatic plants and animals.
d. All of the statements support the importance of estuaries. ​
