5. The fifteenth term of an arithmetic sequence is -3 and the first term is 25 Find the common difference and the tenth term.

Answer:

1.) 20, 26, 32, 38

solution:
38= 20+(4-1)d
38 = 20+3d
38-20 = 3d
18/3 = 3/3d
6 = d

2.) 52, 49, 46, 43, 40

Solution:
40 = 52+(5-1)d
40-52 = 4d
-12/4 = 4d
-3 = d

3.) 5,9,13,17,21,25

Solution
25 = 5+(6-1)d
25-5 = 5d
20/5 =5d/5
4 = d

4.) 0,2.5,5,7.5,10,12.5,15

Solution:
15 = 0+(7-1)d
15 = 0+6d
15/6 = 6d/6
2.5 = d
