Sometimes, people decide that they want to write their names in the bark. When they do this, they can harm the tree. Diseases can attack the tree through the cuts in the bark. Trees can die because of these diseases. 8. The cardinal and the cedar waxwing are two common birds. Both have crests on their heads, and both are often seen at birdfeeders. But the birds do have some differences. The male cardinal is bright, while the waxwing is brown. The cedar waxwing often migrates from place to place. On the other hand, the cardinal stays in one place year after year. 9. Saturn is the second largest planet in the solar system, much larger than the Earth. It is mostly made of hydrogen. It rotates more quickly, too. A day on Saturn is only about 10 hours long. But it takes about 30 of our years to make one full trip around the sun. 10. Sand castles do not last long on an ocean beach. The water levels change with the tide. When the tide is low, the waves don't come all the way up the beach. When the tide “comes in” at high tide, the water comes farther up the beach. As a result, sand castles get destroyed by the strong waves. ​
