Silas always helps his mother look after her fruit stall. At the fruit stall, 3/7 of the fruits are mangos. 2/5 of the remaining fruits are kiwis and the rest are bananas. How many fruits are there altogether if there are 120 bananas?
3/7,2/5,? The missing is the banana. 5/5 - 2/5=3/5 3/5 is the fraction of the banana. If the banana is 120,therefore the kiwis are 80.Add them up,120+80=200.And the last is 3/7,the 200 is the 4/7 remaining of this 3/7,to know the value of 3/7, divide first 200 and 4 so the answer is 50,50×3=150. In this question there are 150 mangoes,120 bananas and 80 kiwis.
The Answer is 350 fruits are there altogether. Pa brainliest :)
