Start of much more organised and coordinated rebellions at national level. India started fighting in unity irrespective of all the differences. Most of the violent form of attacks spur during this time which pulled of British back off and gave Indians more boldness to fight. Most of different tax paying schemes and other tariffs introduced by British government made life miserable for the Indian citizens, most of them no hope else other than to fight. Rather than just India many of the other colonies of British also faced similar problems due to which various British forces couldn't counteract the problems everywhere efficiently. Most of the present day London's glory was based on the sufferings and sorrow of people of its different colonies; and India been her largest cash cow. Most importantly from British perspective nothing was left for them to loot in India other than various taxes which the Indians had to pay,lack of their interest was inversely proportional to our growth nationalism too.
