3. How can you promote a product or service in rural areas that has a limited access to mediums of communication and media (such as internet, television)
Marketing and promotion can take place on a variety of mediums or platforms. The traditional mediums include print, radio, television, direct mail and telephone; while the online mediums include email, social media, pay per click marketing, search engine marketing, and mobile marketing.
I will promote a product or service in rural areas that have limited access to mediums of communication and media through volunteering in a radio station. If I were a volunteer in a certain radio station, they may be able to receive the information that was sent by me through the means of the radio station. By advertising and promoting a certain product in a radio station, although they may not know me by face, at the very least they may be able to grasp the knowledge of what's the product all about for them to have familiarization and for them to be up to date when they plan to purchase something. I believe that radios are an easy tool for them to have access to the city or to what's happening by just finding signal. In conclusion, my way to promote a product or service in rural areas are by means of radio.
