The uterine lining breaks down and blood comes out of the vagina.
The uterus prepares for a possible fertilization and implantation by making
the uterine lining grow and thicken.
Approximately every 28 days, an egg cell is released from the ovaries.
The uterine lining thickens again and develop after the menstruation for an
egg to mature.
The egg cell released by the ovary, travels along the fallopian tube and
wait for a sperm cell.​
